Ghana’s World Cup preparations suffered a blow after a 2-1 defeat to Bosnia in Sarajevo raised more questions over coach Milovan Rajevac.

Former Portsmouth midfielder Sulley Muntari marked his return to the Ghana team with the opener, but Bosnia fought back with goals from Vedad Ibisevic and Miralem Pjanic.Muntari, who was dropped for the African Cup of Nations, announced his return to the fold with a fine individual effort on 22 minutes, but Bosnia drew level when Edin Dzeko squared for strike partner Ibisevic to score.

The home side grabbed the winner on 65 minutes when Lyon midfielder Pjanic’s shot from long range deceived Daniel Adjei.
